SanDisk Will Supply Fujitsu Siemens Computers With CompactFlash And Secure Digital Memory Cards For New

Advanced New Handheld Computer Has Expansion Slots For Both Types Of Popular Flash Memory Cards

SUNNYVALE, CA, April 15, 2002 - SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) announced today that it will supply Fujitsu Siemens Computers with CompactFlash® (CF) and Secure Digital™ (SD) flash memory cards for the new Pocket LOOX, an advanced, high-performance handheld computer with built-in Bluetooth capability and a module attachment for full mobile phone functionality. The Pocket LOOX was introduced last month at the CeBIT trade show in Germany.

The new computer, which runs on Microsoft's Pocket PC 2002 operating system, has expansion slots for both CompactFlash and Secure Digital cards. SanDisk will provide Fujitsu Siemens Computers with CompactFlash and Secure Digital memory cards which will either be bundled for sale with the computer or sold separately as accessories.

SanDisk flash cards are available at more than 40,000 retail outlets around the world including 17,000 stores in Europe. Its CompactFlash cards range in capacity between 8MB and one gigabyte while Secure Digital cards are sold in capacities from 16MB to 256MB.
